Presenting Three Case Reports of Congenital Vaginal and Complete Uterine Septum with Double Cervix (U2bC2V1) with Different Reproductive Outcomes: Is There a Need for Surgical Treatment?

Abstract Congenital uterine anomalies (CUAs) consist of structural disorders the female genital tract arising as a result abnormal fusion or resorption Müllerian ducts. The prevalence CUAs is 5.5% in general population, 8.0% infertile women, and 13.3% women with history miscarriage. Here, we present three cases complex anomalies, including cervical duplication vaginal septum different reproductive outcomes. A complete double functional cervix may have wide spectrum outcomes: from completely normal conception pregnancy to infertility recurrent losses. In these cases, advised patients their evaluation by undergoing hysteroscopy, provide reliable information for anatomical status cervix, tubal ostia, and, especially, cavity. miscarriages, dilemma whether proceed resection combination one. We suggest that among this type CUAs, surgical treatment should be offered. Further evidence larger population studies needed risks cannot disregarded.
